questions

is it free?
yes. there is no account, no sign-in and no paywall. you do not need to give an email address.
where do my photos go?
nowhere. the camera feed is drawn onto a canvas in your browser and the strip is assembled on your device. there is no server to upload to — the site is static files. closing the tab deletes everything.
what is the wallpaper option?
as well as the photo strip, the booth builds a 1080 by 1920 pixel phone wallpaper: the same three shots, laid into a wallpaper template matched to the frame you picked. it is its own layout rather than the strip shrunk onto a background — two big photos stacked, with the third in an ellipse across the seam between them.
how do i set it as my wallpaper?
on iphone: download it, open photos, tap share, then 'use as wallpaper'. on android: download it, long-press the image in your gallery, then 'set as' and choose lock screen.
the camera will not open
if you opened this from a link inside instagram, tiktok or another app, that app's built-in browser often blocks the camera. open the page in your normal browser and it will work. you can also upload four photos instead — every frame and both downloads work exactly the same way.
can i use photos i already have?
yes. choose 'upload four photos instead' at the camera step. this is also how it works on a computer without a webcam.
how many shots does a strip have?
four, taken three seconds apart, with a countdown before each one.
why is my strip mirrored?
the preview is mirrored so it behaves like a mirror, and the saved strip keeps that orientation. un-mirroring it is technically more correct but consistently looks wrong to the person in the photo.
is it connected to any group or label?
no. this is an independent fan-made tool. all of the artwork is original and drawn for this site. it uses no official photos, logos, names or music.
